Dutch singer-songwriter DALÌ blends soul, jazz and cinematic storytelling into songs about womanhood, identity and healing. FE.MALE is one of her most personal songs to date. Written from the perspective of generational trauma, the song reflects on the women who came before her mothers, grandmothers, daughters and sisters who experienced abuse, loss, neglect and loneliness, yet continued to love, nurture and survive.
